Bringing Together Company and Customer,
Products, People and Data Connected and Ready for your success!
Companies need to stay ahead of the relentless competition and need deep insight into their Enterprise including analyzing the existing systems and highlighting areas of improvement. Enhancing opportunities by identifying new software/service to be developed or implemented. Facilitate change & Configuration Management.
"The ongoing interactions between company and customer, offered by the company chosen by the customer."
CXM is a business science that has the purpose of determining the strategy and programs that can make the customer feel good enough about the company to want to continue to do business with the company.
In a way, it goes to the heart of a customer's relationship with a company, though it's combined with CRM and customer engagement in rather complex and occasionally stupefying ways. To put that relationship in the simplest terms, it goes like this:
"If a customer likes you and continues to like you, they will do business with you. If they don't, they won't."
I don't think I can define it any more simply than that. But note something I didn't say in the CXM part. I did NOT associate it with any technology at all. I said science, strategy, and programs. The reason I didn't is simple. There is no such thing as customer experience management technology. You cannot enable a feeling over time by technology. You have systems of record with CRM. You have systems of engagement associated with technology. Did you ever hear of a system of experience? That's because there isn't one.
I don't want to make this a tautological argument. Think of this. Most of what you see called customer experience technology is either just a repackaged name for customer analytics or in the case of one product is a digital asset management tool. (Product name upon request - but not required here. I'm not trying single out companies. Only the customer experience management technology market as a whole - which is bogus.) Even sentiment analysis, which is about interpretation of emotional states of customers, isn't enabling anything - its identifying something. That's what I'm talking about when I say customer analytics. Nothing we haven't seen before - a long time before.
However, the science of CXM as a strategic and programmatic methodology is both time honored and can be highly effective in developing a long-term approach to what you want to evoke from your customers. Just don't call the technologies out there CXM technologies. They are bad and confusing terms - and you won't enable the emotions of a customer using them - because you can't.
The CRM market is once again morphing into something but not what you think. At its core, it's not changing. We are dealing with a mature market that is in fact here to stay and will continue to growth - in total and by its core three pieces. Recently we are seeing more highly specialized additions becoming an increasingly large part of the technology being made available.
Sales optimization/enablement is a great example: Companies provide algorithms for determining the "best next action" - that is, what does the salesperson have to do next to optimize his/her chances of closing a deal? - or sales intelligence so that you can understand who is influencing who among the many possible options. The same concept of specialization that leads to at least marginally better results is one of the hottest areas in the CRM universe.
The alignment of sales and marketing and the applications that allow for marketing and sales to work conjointly are another area that CRM is seeing growth. But, ultimately, it's what it has been for more than two decades. The customer facing departments' operational technologies refreshed for the cloud, personalized for the individual and automated for processes, drives CRM.
So how is it morphing then? In order to know that we have to clarify the definitions of some of the other terms.
What this is not is almost as important as what this is. First, what it is:
"How a customer feels about a company over time"
Finance and Operations
Customer Engagement & Customer Relationship Management.
"CRM is a philosophy and a business strategy, supported by a system and a technology designed to improve human interaction in a business environment."
Social CRM is a philosophy and a business strategy, supported by a technology platform, business rules, workflow, processes and social characteristics, designed to engage the customer in a collaborative conversation in order to provide mutually beneficial value in a trusted and transparent business environment. It's the company's programmatic response to the customer's control of the conversation."

Business Acumen and what it means for you
Business acumen is keenness and quickness in understanding and dealing with a "business situation" in a manner that is likely to lead to a good outcome. Additionally, business acumen has emerged as a vehicle for improving financial performance and leadership development. Consequently, several different types of strategies have developed around improving business acumen.
Business acumen (also known as a business savvy and business sense) is an ability that allows you to understand and cope with different business situations. We have to make clear that business acumen is not a single skill, but a wide complex of competencies, knowledge, and awareness of multiple aspects of a business.
Some of my main characteristics of competencies that strong business acumen have are:
To summarize it in one sentence, a person with strong business acumen skills can “see the whole picture.” If you have business acumen competency, it means you understand how the business works!
Acumen and business awareness are housed in your own mind.
Customer Resource Management & Engagement.
Customer Relationship Management is a technology and system that sustains sales, marketing and customer service activities. It is designed to capture and interpret customer data, both structured and unstructured, and to sustain the management of the business side of customer related operations. CRM technology automates processes and workflows and helps organize and interpret data to support a company in engaging its Customers more efeffectively.
Human resource management is focused on a number of major areas, including:
Due to the many areas of human resource management, it is typical for professionals in this field to possess specific expertise in one or more areas. Just a few of the related career titles I possess as an HR professional:
Human resource management involves developing and administering programs that are designed to increase the effectiveness of an organization or business. It includes the entire spectrum of creating, managing, and cultivating the employer-employee relationship.
For most organizations, agencies, and businesses, the human resources department is responsible for:
Human resource management is about:
Addressing current employee concerns: Unlike company managers who oversee the day-to-day work of employees, HR departments deal with employee concerns such as benefits, pay, employee investments, pension plans, and training. Their work may also include settling conflicts between employees or between employees and their managers.
Acquiring new employees: The human resource management team recruits potential employees, oversees the hiring process (background checks, drug testing, etc.), and provides new employee orientation.
Managing the employee separation process: The HR management team must complete a specific set of tasks if an employee quits, is fired, or is laid off. Paperwork must be completed to ensure that the process was completed legally. Severance pay may be offered or negotiated, benefits must be settled, and access to company resources must be severed via the collection of keys, badges, computers, or sensitive materials from the employee. I am exceptionally experienced in all HR processes.
Improving morale: Effective HR teams encourage company employees to do their best, which contributes to the overall success of the company. Their work often involves rewarding employees for good performance and creating a positive work environment. I believe a positive attitude goes a long way and is hard to fight.
Today’s HR management team must focus their efforts on five, critical areas:
Define and align organizational purpose: A company’s employees must be able to clearly articulate why the company exists in order to achieve a purpose-driven, sustainable, high-performing organization. Employees must also understand how their efforts connect, or align, with the organization’s purpose.
Recruit the best talent by creating, marketing, and selling an Employee Value Proposition (EVP): False marketing and misconceptions about an organization are some of the main reasons why the employer-employee relationship fails. Therefore, companies must create, market, and sell an EVP that is true and accurate as to not mislead potential employees. Truth, Trust and Traceability arehuge when hiring the right people.
Focus on employee strengths: Companies must make every effort to understand what candidates and employees do best and put them into roles where they can play to their strengths as much as possible. However, now more and more employees want to learn more on the job and move up within their company. Therefore, it is og great value to offer training to current employees wishing to move up and mentor employees when possible.
.Create organizational alignment: Achievements must align with the organization’s objectives so as to build a successful and sustainable organization.
Accurately measure the same things: All internal departments and employees must be measuring the same things as to achieve a definitive organizational result and to ensure that everyone knows exactly where the organization is at all times.
It’s not just about knowing your "Human" product, services or business fields.
You have to know about financial metrics (and how to speak the language of finance "Human Capital"), doing thoughtful analysis, effective verbal and non-verbal communication, have deep insight into the marketplace and so many other issues related to the broader needs of the business of Human Relations Management..
Finance and Financial Management:
Financial Acumen, Financial literacy concepts and metrics including KPI's, assist with streamlining processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and stepping up compliance. Business quality skills that sharpen my ability to keep your house in order and work efficiently by managing costs and resources, focusing on process quality, standards, tools, and metrics, driving efficiency, shorter cycles, managing resources, and understanding technology trends. Global skills including analyzing local, regional and global markets and product trends, deciphering competitive intelligence, understanding the importance and requirements of governance, risk, and compliance, building a sound corporate responsibility strategy and a broader sustainability strategy for the growth of your organization into the future.
The underlying common thread in all these functions is an excellent understanding of the numbers in your line of business. Mastering the numbers enables me to make sound and quick decisions.
Budgeting and Financial Forecasting
Budgeting-Establishing a plan regarding where management ideally wants to take the company. Budgeting quantifies the expectation of revenues that a business wants to achieve for a future period.
Financial Forecasting – Estimates the number of revenues that will be achieved in a
future period.
WIP (Work-in-process-or- Work-in-progress) This is the amount of work that has started on an asset or item but has not been delivered to a customer or received payment for the item. In an MFG setting, items that have been received at the factory, but have not been delivered to the customer. In a service industry, a project or task that has been started, but not emailed or faxed to the customer. Different stages may be assigned different labels, depending on the amount of work completed. I provide comprehensive system level CM development experience to identify, document and enhance the program-wide process and documentation for all items under configuration control.
Identify bottlenecks, improve flow, and eliminate waste with Kaizen, Kanban and Lean.
General Ledger, A/R, A/P, Cash and Bank Reconciliation, etc.
With Configuration Management and ERP - Enterprise Resource Platforms and Strong Business Analysis you are able to continuously monitor and record configuration changes of your Organizational resources. Configuration management also enables you to inventory your business resources, the configurations of your resources, as well as software configurations within change instances at any point in time. Once change from a previous state is detected, a Simple Notification Service (SNS) notification can be delivered by your ERP for you to review and take action.
ERP and Configuration Management allows you to continuously audit and assess the overall compliance of your resource configurations with your organization’s policies and guidelines.. Configuration Management provides you with the ability to define rules for provisioning and configuring organization resources. These rules can be provisioned independently or packaged together with compliance remediation actions inside a pack (known as a conformance pack) that can be deployed across your entire organization with a single click. Resource configurations or configuration changes that deviate from your rules automatically trigger Simple Notification Service (SNS) notifications and CloudWatch events so that you can be alerted on a continuous basis. You can also take advantage of the visual dashboard to check your overall compliance status and quickly spot non-compliant resources.
With your ERP D365 or AWS, etc platform and Configuration Management you are able to track the relationships among resources and review resource dependencies prior to making changes. Once a change occurs, you are able to quickly review the history of the resource's configuration and determine what the resource’s configuration looked like at any point in the past. Configuration Management provides you with information to assess how a change to a resource configuration would affect your other resources, which minimizes the impact of change-related incidents.
With a strong ERP Platform and Configuration Management you can capture a comprehensive history of your resources, introduce configuration changes to simplify troubleshooting of your operational issues. Configuration helps you identify the root cause of operational issues through its integration with Cloud Trail, a service that records events related to API calls for your account. Configuration Management leverages information records to correlate configuration changes to particular events in your account. You can obtain the details of the event API call that invoked the change (e.g., who made the request, at what time, and from which IP address) from the Cloud Trail logs.
With multi-account, multi-region data aggregation in certain Configuration Management Platforms, you can view compliance status across your enterprise and identify non-compliant accounts. You can dive deeper to view status for a specific region or a specific account across regions. You can view this data from the Configuration console in a central account, removing the need to retrieve this information individually from each account, and each region. I can set your entire organization up for success!
ERP D365 along with strong Configuration Management is designed to help you assess compliance with your internal policies and regulatory standards by providing you visibility into the configuration of your Project Management resources as well as third-party resources, and evaluating resource configuration changes against your desired configurations on a continuous basis.
Financial analysis is easily entered and tracked when using an ERP platform such as Dynamics 365.
Configuration Management will discover resources that exist in your organization and your ERP will record their current configuration, and capture any changes to these configurations. Configuration Management / ERP programs will also retain configuration details for resources that have been deleted. A comprehensive snapshot of all resources and their configuration attributes provides a complete inventory of resources in your account.
Don’t lose your Intellectual Property - I can help you retain your Intellectual Property and take advantage of it when the time is right. Think of “Scotchguard and Silly Putty”! Those were just given away and someone made millions from the giveaway of intellectual property.

Configuration management (CM) is a systems engineering process for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life. The CM process is widely used by high-end enterprises and military engineering organizations to manage changes throughout the system lifecycle of complex systems, such as Software, Hardware, Firmware, Facility management, HR Management ( A-Check Global & Plum/ SAE) to name a few, weapon systems, military vehicles, autonomous vehicles and complete information systems. Outside the military, the CM process is also used with IT service management as defined by ITIL, and with other organizations like AI due to the need for Cyber security. I have recommendations for Configuration management programs, but you still need to make sure you verify you have the correct information in your product. Your product is only as good as the person or people leading the CM management charge!
Some top performing enterprise platforms: Oracle, AWS, Syspro/ Unipoint, Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX2012.
I recommend Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AX2012 for the Next Global generation ERP/ Complete Business solutions.

As an independent business consultant, I’ve implemented dozens of successful ERP Systems over my career and integrated and/or upgrading new roll outs and new ERP systems while minimizing downtime. This includes implementing new ERP training programs and new technological advancements combined with Configuration management. During difficult financial times requires new ways of thinking and new ways to think about business.

Even with our recent pandemic, transformative technological (robotics, AI) and the robotic process automation (RPA) is becoming highly sophisticated, removing a lot of manual intervention from workflow processes. Also, internet of things (IoT) systems are creating huge volumes of data related to areas like logistics and manufacturing. Everything passes through ERP, including (AI), artificial intelligence. ERP analysis’s need to be extremely familiar in AI and machine learning,

New ERP system transformation for organization after facilitating workshops and comprehensive stakeholder meetings to acquire “discovery” of what UPS needed for the continued success and growth UPS has numerous ERP systems and they were not working as well as they were required to be. UPS site locations needed to be able to communicate with UPS Ready ERP and after multiple meetings, negotiations and training workshops, AQXOLT, ERP Mark 7 was selected as it had built my client an integrated UPS – “The Sub-station-UPS Stores” can easily access critical shipping information without having to leave ERP Mark 7 or go to another website. Now they can offer their customers these functions: UPS tracking, UPS rates and service selection, UPS time in transit, UPS Address Validation and UPS shipping. Configuration Management was needed with documentation tracking, CI, functional documentation and all CMM activities to achieve the success of this transformation.

The Configuration Management process area supports all process areas by establishing and maintaining the integrity of work products using an ERP in combination with configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
The work products placed under configuration management include the products that are delivered to the customer, designated internal work products, acquired products, tools, and other items that are used in creating and describing these work products.
"Examples of work products that can be placed under configuration management include plans, process descriptions, requirements, design, data, drawings, product specifications, code, compilers, product data files, and product technical publications, financial integrity.
"The purpose of Configuration Management (CM) is to establish and maintain the integrity of work products using configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
The Configuration Management process area involves the following activities:
"The work products placed under configuration management include the products that are delivered to the customer, designated internal work products, acquired products, tools, and other items used in creating and describing these work products."
Does Configuration Management actually do anything worthwhile?
Absolutely 100% yes. Here are some examples:
Traceability in everything we do and traceable in our new ERP Systems.
Supply Chain Management, Project Leadership.
Think about these things.....
In addition to CMM:
Hard Drive Components:
Software
The IT Department
Automotive/ Aerospace Industries
Customer Service Sectors:
Do you have the exact products your customers need? CM can help you assure you do, in addition to supply chain management
Electronics-Circuit Boards
Equipment we need to build things.
Construction & Manufacturing *
All aspects of business.
Configuration Management enables us to do great things.
Bringing Together Company and Customer,
Products, People and Data Connected and Ready for your success!
Configuration Management is a set of processes that allows us to manage our "end-items", peripheral equipment, all related information and associated changes that we input to our ERP Platform are all "CM" Configuration Items.
By continuously improving our CM processes we will continue to do great things - more efficiently and effectively and cost effective.
Think about these things.....
Autonomous Vehicles:
Defense-Apache Helicopters and Drones::
YOU BET!
Knowing aircraft manufacturers require (CM) should make us a bit more comfortable when traveling.
Home Construction? Of course they need to manage and control.
CM applies to your lunch...
A Sandwich?
Think about "Subway"
The depth and uniformity of documentation relating to configuration control and accounting, historically, have been comparatively shallow...
When a successful new flight or autonomous drive is finally made and the buyer says, "Build me 10 more," does industry find themselves in the following circumstances:
They obviously did not have adequate records of all part numbers, serial numbers, Configuration identification (CI) of items, chronology of changes, nor change management accomplishment. Internal technical publications such as work instructions, did not reflect all the various changes correctly.
It was obvious that a second success could not be guaranteed, nor an identical article produced without accurate configuration identification record management.
Configuration Management provides 100% Conforming Compliance and Complete knowledge of your products.
My strong work ethic Is important to express to my employers and future team members. Employees who understand and possess a willingness to work hard, realize how important it is to also work smart. It means learning the most efficient way to complete tasks and finding ways to save time while completing assignments and caring about your job enough to complete all projects while maintaining confidentiality and a positive attitude. Doing more than is expected on the job is a good way to show management that you utilize good time management skills and don’t waste valuable company time and money.
Being dependable and responsible as an employee shows your employer that you value your job and that you are responsible for keeping up with projects and keeping them informed of the things that they should know about.
It is the enthusiastic employee who creates an environment of good will and who provides a positive role model for others. A positive attitude is something that is most valued by supervisors and co-workers, and that also makes the job more pleasant and fun to go to each day.
Also by having compassion and being considerate and diplomatic are imperative in any successful organization. I am finely tuned into the needs and concerns of our consumers and colleagues.
In Short, Employers seek employees who are adaptable and maintain flexibility in completing tasks in an ever-changing workplace. Being open to change and improvements provides an opportunity to complete work assignments more efficiently while offering additional benefits to the corporation, the customer, and even the employee.
Employers look for employees who require little supervision and direction to get the work done in a timely and professional manner. Supervisors who hire self-motivated employees do themselves an immense favor. Self-motivated employees require very little direction from their supervisors. Once a self-motivated employee understands his/her responsibility on the job, they will do it without any prodding from others. Employers can do their part by offering a safe, supportive, work environment that offer employees an opportunity to learn and grow. Working in a supportive work environment and taking the initiative to be self-directive will provide employees with a better sense of accomplishment and increased self-esteem.
Motivated to Grow and Learn: In an ever-changing workplace, employers seek employees who are interested in keeping up with new developments and knowledge in the field. It has been noted that one of the top reasons employees leave their employers is the lack of opportunity for career development within the organization. Learning new skills, techniques, methods, and/or theories through professional development helps keep the organization at the top of its field and makes the employee's job more interesting and exciting. Keeping up with current changes in the current field of their business is vital for success and increased job security.
This is at the top of my core values. Employers value employees who maintain a sense of honesty and integrity above all else.
Good relationships are built on trust. When working for an employer, they want to know that they can trust what you say and what you do. 'If i say I will do something, you can count on it".
Successful businesses work to gain the trust of customers and maintain the attitude that “the customer is always right.” It is the responsibility of each person to use their own individual sense of moral and ethical behavior when working with and serving others within the scope of their job. Our personal untarnished reputation is all you really have beyond knowledge. And manners.
Your time is valuable, and I will make sure to get back to you as soon as I can.
Thank You
